Tags are a way for our software to understand the content of a Passle post.
Adding tags is a great way to allow your audience to find your content. Tags can also be used when implementing topics on your page or using our Client Connect feature. This allows the Passle system to identify and present information logically for your audience
We also use this information to collect content with the same tags for use in newsletters where you can choose which tags to pull into a newsletter.
Tags can be managed in three ways:
- Passle predefined tags
- Passle default tags
- Passle user tags
Predefined tags are a great way to define and split content into topics. Byt adding predefined tags, the authors in the firm are able to select relevant tags from a dropdown list determined by you. This ensures consistency in tagging and allows you to split your content easily to present to your audience.
Default tags can be set up and will appear as a default in the tag box any time a post is created. This can be removed by the author should they wish to remove it.
User tags are user-specific default tags that appear any time that specific individual creates a post. This is used when authors tend to create content around a particular topic or belong to a particular team in the business. As with default tags, the author will have the option to remove the tag when c creating a post should they wish to remove it.
