WHAT'S NEW
An overview of the new features and key enhancements in this release.
CrossPitch integration
CrossPitch Search
CrossPitch users can now view the CP People search via the app. Users can search for colleagues, view bios and connect with colleagues to expand their network.
To find out more, read our article What is CrossPitch Search?
CrossPitch 'Latest'
CrossPitch users will now be able to access a personalised feed of relevant post content, easily accessible via the app. The feed, presented in date order, will include posts from colleagues they 'follow' and posts matched by relevance via CrossPitch.
Users can read the posts in full via the app, connect with authors to build their network and share posts easily via email, LinkedIn or other mobile sharing options.
OTHER CHANGES
An overview of other enhancements and any minor tweaks to our existing features in this release.
Improved navigation
We have improved the navigation within the app for all user types, including:
- Introducing a link to the user profile settings from the Settings page > user card. This will enable the user to edit their user settings and CrossPitch setting from the app.
- Introducing a floating 'Create/Edit post' icon accessible from all relevant Thought Leadership Suite pages in the page. This will replace the ‘Create’ tab on the bottom navigation bar.
- Moving the 'Activity notifications' tab on the bottom navigation bar to the top navigation bar (right-hand side).
WHAT WE'VE FIXED
A list of minor updates in this release:
- Fixed an issue where SSO users were not able to log in (stuck with loading spinner).
- Fixed an issue where LinkedIn authentication was not working correctly, resulting in users not able to access the LinkedIn Quick Share feature.
- Fixed an issue with filters on the Feedback page (Thought Leadership Suite users). When switching between the tabs Passle | Posts, the date range now stays the same, as expected.
- Fixed an issue with notification settings for new app users (Android). Notification settings are now enabled by default.
- We have added a UXCam tracking code to both Android and iOS apps. This will allow us to gain more insights into mobile app usage and help support our improvements.
- We have introduced an alert to inform the user if their app needs upgrading.
