The original Passle Button extension will be retired from use and will no longer work after 31 March 2025.

Users of this Passle Button extension should upgrade to the Passle Gateway extension before this date to continue benefitting from this key feature.

Why is the current Passle Button extension being retired?

We recently updated the Passle Button extension to ensure it continued working on the latest browser versions. However, we have created an enhanced Passle Button extension (the Passle Gateway extension), which will now replace the original Passle Button extension.

How do I upgrade to the Passle Gateway extension?

You can upgrade to the Passle Gateway extension via either option below:

1. Visit the Get the Passle Button page from your dashboard, and follow the step-by-step instructions.

OR

2. Install the Passle Gateway extension directly from one of the following browser stores:

Don't forget to uninstall your old Passle Button extension.

What are the benefits of upgrading?

The current Passle Button extension only allows the user to create a Passle post. It does not include the Passle Toolbar function. The Passle Gateway extension includes both functions.

  • Gives visibility of your Passle activity log and 'To-do' list (via the Passle Toolbar)
  • Allows you to repost your posts (via the Passle Toolbar)
  • Provides shortcut links to create a post (via the Passle Toolbar)
  • Allows you to share a post to LinkedIn via the Quick Share feature (via the Passle Toolbar)
  • Company administrators have access to additional shortcut links to key administrator dashboard pages (via the Passle Toolbar)

Accessing the Passle Toolbar via the Passle Gateway extension

When users are viewing a Passle post they have published, clicking the Passle Button will display the Passle Toolbar instead of the interface for writing a post.

The Toolbar displays stats to the user about their post (eg: how many views it has had, how many people have clicked through from LinkedIn etc). The Toolbar also it has links to allow the user to edit the post, repost the post, Quick Share to LinkedIn etc.
