What is CrossPitch?

CrossPitch helps your firm uncover and share knowledge internally. It uses artificial intelligence to match your firm’s content with the colleagues most likely to find it relevant — automatically notifying them so they can engage, collaborate, and strengthen cross-selling opportunities.

Passle itself enables professionals to easily share insights with clients and prospects. Together, Passle and CrossPitch create a system that amplifies your firm’s knowledge, connects teams, and builds stronger client relationships.

If your firm is embarking upon a CrossPitch implementation, there are some preparation steps which can help ensure everything works as intended:-

Step 1: Prepare professional data

For CrossPitch to match content accurately, Passle requires a data import (.csv) containing your firm’s professional information.

Required columns:

First name | Last name | Email address | Job title | Profile URL | City | Country | Sector | Practice group

This information ensures the system can correctly identify and notify relevant colleagues.

Step 2: Enable data collection and communication

To power its features, Passle needs access to your firm’s public professional profiles and must be able to send internal email notifications.

Quick actions for your IT team:

  1. Allowlist Passle domains
Add Passle’s sending domains and IPs to your firm’s allowlist to prevent filtering or blocking (details provided in setup documentation).
  2. Check email deliverability
If users aren’t receiving CrossPitch notifications, verify that no spam filtering or email security policies are preventing delivery.
  3. Open rates
CrossPitch open-rate tracking can be affected by for example, email security tools block/stripping images or Apple Mail's default preloading images. Our Guidelines to ensure email open-rate tracking works for you article outlines what to look out for, in more detail.
