WHAT'S NEW

An overview of our new features and key enhancements in this release.

New activity statistics emails ADMIN

In response to client requests, we have developed a new activity email tailored specifically for Business Development, Client Administration, and Marketing Teams. This email provides a comprehensive overview of key insights, empowering users to measure content performance and engagement effectively. The insights include:

  • Total post views
  • Social referrals
  • Top-read posts
  • Top-read authors
  • Top companies reading your posts
  • Client Connect views and key statistics

These emails can be sent weekly or monthly, either at the Client or Passle level.

Managing activity emails ADMIN

Client Administrators have complete control over managing these emails, including the ability to set the report at either the Passle or Client level and set the frequency. You can also customise the specific day, time, and time zone for sending the reports to suit your preferences.

In addition, administrators can assign other administrators or select non-admin Passle users to receive the reports, ensuring that the right team members stay informed.

The new page is found under the Admin dashboard: Company > Manage activity emails

Settings added to My profile > Notifications

When a user is set up to receive an activity email, this information will appear in their profile under Notifications > Statistics.

Users can easily view the activity emails they are subscribed to and the scheduled delivery times. They also have the option to unsubscribe directly from this section.

If a user unsubscribes, they will still appear on the recipient list on the 'Manage activity emails' page, but will be highlighted in red to notify administrators.

What do I need to do: Visit the new Manage activity emails page to set up your report schedules. For more details, refer to the guide: How to set up and manage activity emails

  2. Insert image (in post only)
  3. Tables
  4. Quotes (in post only)
  5. Accordion sections
  6. Special characters
  7. Superscript & subscript

What do I need to do: Please contact your Client Success or Enterprise team contact, and they will be happy to hide the editing features or discuss any details with you.

Enhancements to LinkedIn Quick Share Powered by AI

Improved summary selection and generation

We've enhanced the LinkedIn Quick Share tool by improving summary generation and allowing users to browse and select their preferred options.

Counters now display up to 15 summary versions (e.g., 1/3, 4/6). Initially, three summaries are loaded automatically, with the option to generate three more.

Prompt to detect if you are author

We've also updated the LinkedIn Quick Share tool to generate summaries that adapt based on whether you're the author of the post.

If you authored the post, the summary will feature a first-person perspective, while shared posts from colleagues will adopt a more neutral tone. This ensures context-appropriate summaries for more effective sharing.

What do I need to do: Absolutely nothing, this feature is already available to everyone.

Enhancement to ISTATOY email Enterprise Powered by AI

The new ISTATOY emails will feature a brief post summary, offering more context and detail than just the first sentence of the post. This improvement aims to give the intended recipient a clearer understanding of the article's content and how it may benefit them.

OTHER CHANGES

An overview of other enhancements and any minor tweaks to our existing features in this release.

Update to Featured media when selecting embedded media

The user flow for selecting Featured media has been updated when a user selects the 'Embed media' option.

Previously, it allowed for the embedded media image to be separated from the link and used separately as a sharing image, risking copyright issues.

Now, if an embedded media option is selected for the post Featured media, and a copyright issue is detected, it asks the user to select a separate thumbnail image for the Content hub/ sharing image.

Edit post page toolbar: additional options added under numbered list feature

Several clients have expressed a desire for the ability to customise their numbered list options.

Previously, the default setting was limited to a simple sequential format of 1, 2, 3. In response to this feedback, we have updated the feature to include six different numbered list options, allowing for greater flexibility and personalisation. Please see the list of available options below.

Updates to Newsletter feature ADMIN

We have made some improvements to the employee advocacy newsletter tool after feedback from some clients.

  • Added a 'My posts only' option.
  • Updated share options to show individual links, displaying only those selected.
  • Changed 'Share via: Twitter' to 'X'.
  • Author names now appear after post titles.

All user roles can now generate newsletters, not just administrators.

Enhancements to the Manage users > CSV download

To help with user management we have updated the Users CSV download to include the following new columns:

  • Company profile URL
  • Company profile enabled
  • Total posts
  • Town/City
  • Country

WHAT WE'VE FIXED

A list of minor UI updates in this release.

  • Published post view read summary: We have updated the time to read post to 'X minute read’ on the published post view. If a post is short, it will show ‘less than a minute read’, but if a post is longer, it will show ‘X minute read’ without showing ‘minutes’ if X is more than one.
  • Minor design and UX fixes: We have fixed some minor UI issues including improvements to spacing, alignment and design for the Passles table and Manage approvals process pages.
  • Deactivated Passles: A bug affecting the link to a deactivated Passle has been fixed. The link to any deactivated Passle now shows a 'This content is currently unavailable' message page.
