WHAT'S NEW
An overview of our new features and key enhancements in this release.
CrossPitch Send
External content import functionality
We’ve added a new way for Passle to pull content directly from your firm’s website into Passle as External Posts. This means your content can be reviewed and managed in one place before it is published, making the process especially smoother for CrossPitch-only clients.
- Passle looks for new content on your website on a regular basis
- It detects relevant pages and retrieves the content and author details
- New items appear in Passle for manual review before publishing
What do I need to do: Nothing, our Client Success Team will handle the setup for you.
CrossPitch Search
Different options for displaying search summary results
CrossPitch Search now supports three display options for search results:
AI summary only shows and AI-generated mini summary for the result
Profile summary only shows the author’s profile summary instead
Full view shows both the AI mini summary and the profile summary together
What do I need to do: If you are a CrossPitch Search client, let our Client Success or Support team know which option you want to enable.
Editing toolbar updates
Bookmarks (Anchor links)
The new bookmark feature (also know as Anchor Links) has been added. This allows you to mark specific points in your post and link directly to them. This feature has been frequently requested by multiple clients.
The feature is available as the first item in the “more options” menu.
CKEditor upgrade
We’ve upgraded to the latest version of CKEditor, the software that powers the editing toolbar. The visual changes are subtle, but the update improves stability and performance and makes it easier to introduce new features in future.
What do I need to do: Nothing at all, all clients have been updated.
OTHER CHANGES
An overview of other enhancements and any minor tweaks to our existing features in this release.
CrossPitch Send
Allow CrossPitch emails to come from your own domain
Clients can now have CrossPitch emails sent from their own verified domain, helping maintain brand consistency and making emails look familiar to recipients.
Improved email flow for Single-sign on (SSO) users
CrossPitch email links now detect if a user is logged in via SSO, so authenticated users sharing to LinkedIn will go straight to the Quick Share page instead of the default LinkedIn share page.
Remind administrators about unsent CrossPitch emails
You can now send reminders to administrators if CrossPitch emails haven’t been sent. A new option on the Manage notifications page lets you notify all selected administrators, and a filter makes it easy to see which emails are still pending.
CrossPitch Search
Profile summaries now update automatically on save
CrossPitch will now automatically update the AI profile summary a few minutes after key profile details are updated and saved, so the summary always reflects the latest profile information.
WHAT WE'VE FIXED
A list of minor UI updates in this release.
CrossPitch-only clients
- We’ve added the Company tab with a link to the Manage Entra ID (Azure AD) page, which was previously missing from the dashboard for Client Admin users.
- On first login, the ‘Get the Passle Button’ instruction page has been removed, so you now land directly on the simplified dashboard.
CrossPitch Send
- The search bar now uses the placeholder text “By name, email, job title, location or specialism” and the tooltip has been removed.
Enterprise
- API endpoints are now labelled to indicate which are Enterprise and which are Standard.
A list of bugs fixed in this release.
- We've updated the drop cap feature so that the larger first-letter styling now applies only to letters, not numbers.
- We've fixed an issue in CDT where enabling live data in profile view caused the screen to flash/flicker.
- Improved error message when adding users from an associated client with no Passles. Users are now informed that the associated client must have at least one Passle before they can be added.
- Fixed issues with notification form options when admins viewed another user’s notifications page.
