CrossPitch Send
Feedback
You can now access detailed feedback on individual CrossPitch posts. See how your content is performing with an overview of total emails sent, open rates, and key engagement, including post and author clicks, as well as share activity.
You will also find a user-level breakdown showing whether each recipient opened or read the email, shared it via email (including recipient domains), or shared via LinkedIn.
Company engagement insights
To help demonstrate the value of your firm’s thought leadership, we now highlight companies actively engaging with your content across platforms like Lexology, Mondaq, and JD Supra (where applicable). These insights are tailored to each recipient’s interests, with priority given to key companies saved to their profile.
CrossPitch Search
Improved search reliability
We’ve added fallback options to make search more robust, including full-text search when advanced features are unavailable. A banner will also appear to inform users if any functionality is limited.

UK/US English spell check option for AI-generated content
You can now choose the English language spelling for AI-generated content, UK or US English.
This applies to all AI content across the Passle platform, including CrossPitch notification summaries, generated profile summaries, LinkedIn Quick Share summaries, and ISTATOY summaries, as well as any future AI-generated content.

Client Connect unsubscribing users
In response to client feedback, administrators can now unsubscribe users from Client Connect on their behalf via the dashboard.
A new ‘Unsubscribe’ column is now available under the Client Connect subscribers table. Once a user is unsubscribed, they will immediately stop receiving digest emails.
Inactive filter
To help manage your subscriber list, we’ve added an 'Inactive' filter. Active subscribers are those who have engaged with a digest in the past six months. You can now easily filter out inactive users to unsubscribe them.
Unsubscribed table
A new 'Unsubscribed' tab has been added to show each unsubscribed user’s name, email address, the date they unsubscribed, and who unsubscribed them, either an administrator or the user themselves. This data is only retained for 12 months to comply with GDPR requirements.
Managing users: new profile type
To support different user types in Passle, we’ve added a new profile type option when creating or updating users. The four profile types are:
- Default (current behaviour)
- Test (for testing users only)
- Distribution group (shared group email)
- Company (represents the company, allows a single company name and symbols like '&')
When creating a user, the first step now asks for the profile type, defaulting to 'Default profile' unless changed by the administrator. This option is also available in bulk CSV uploads. If left blank, the profile type defaults to 'Default profile'.
You can manage an existing user’s profile by going to the 'Roles & permissions' menu under their user settings.
Include media thumbnail in post history
You can now see the post body with the embedded content thumbnails (video/audio etc) - with the original embedded content URL below, rather than a blank space or within the Post History.
Inclusion of 3rd-party integration stats into API
API responses for post stats now include additional integration module data from Lexology, Mondaq, and/or JD Supra. The API documentation has been updated to reflect these new properties.
WHAT WE'VE FIXED
A list of minor UI updates in this release.
- Enterprise | When the default Passle image changes > if the Passle is remotely hosted, trigger a bulk post sync: If a Passle is remotely hosted, and the default Passle image changes, a bulk post sync is triggered to update posts that don’t have a featured image/file to use the default Passle sharing image as the client’s Featured image.
- Enterprise | Redirect information page - incorrect warning message when validation failed: The warning message now informs the user that input was incorrect.
- Backend ‘person stats collection’ not capturing ISTATOYs sent for users: We have fixed the issue where ISTATOY stats were not captured within a Competition.
- Media picker | Error in the number of items displayed for filter "All usage: Not Used“: The Media Picker now displays the correct number of unused items in posts.
- Mobile Web View & App | Reporting time filters do not get saved: We have now fixed this so that once the filters have been set to a new reporting time, it remembers the user's choice when opening new pages (eg: Client Connect or Lexology / JD Supra etc).
- Post Importer > Make the "View" session buttons an anchor element: The ‘View’ button has been changed to a link.
- Flash messages in site admin post page not appearing correctly: This has now been fixed, and any flash messages now show up with the proper styling.
- Passle Activity page | Graph/Table switch has almost invisible break line: There is now a line dividing the buttons for clarity. This was missing.
- Home page > Team feedback | View more feedback ">>" looks like it's attached to ‘My post only’: This has now been fixed and the feedback link’s text now wraps correctly.
- Reload the Edit post page with the correct URL where there is a mismatch between the ‘post shortcode’ and ‘Passle shortcode’: Editing the URL (eg …/passle/vp46fd1/editpost/vp4ifi9) with a post shortcode that doesn’t match the Passle shortcode should result in a page reload with the correct Passle. If the user doesn’t have access to the Passle being redirected to, then they should receive an error.
- Notifications | Passle Activity email - The user can see additional empty choice in the dropdown: This has been fixed. The user will now only see two options “Never” and “As scheduled”.
- When the user enters "Suggested post" they can briefly see "Pending" pop-up: This has been fixed. The user is directed to Edit post page, and they no longer see any additional pop-ups.
- Missing spacing between icons and text in approval process flow: This has been fixed. There is now spacing between the icon and text, as per original design.
- Dashboard input labels - Change line-spacing to 2em for sentence-case & normal weight labels: This has now been fixed. Design update: the line spacing has been updated from 3em to 2em for input labels where they are sentence case, with font weight: normal type.
