WHAT'S NEW
An overview of our new features and key enhancements in this release.
CrossPitch Follow
We’ve added a new Follow feature for CrossPitch Search & Send clients. It helps you expand your connections across the firm and stay up to date with posts that support collaboration and grow your network.
You can follow someone in several ways, including via their search results or via CrossPitch notifications.
When you follow a colleague, you’ll receive CrossPitch notifications for all posts they publish, even if they haven’t met your usual sending threshold.
If someone follows you, you can opt to receive an email letting you know who has followed you, along with a brief overview about them and a simple option to follow back.
CrossPitch Search
Internal company search
In addition to the existing external CrossPitch search on clients’ websites, we have added an internal search accessible via the Passle dashboard.
The internal search functions similarly to the external search but includes a few additional features to make finding relevant connections easier.
These include:
- Personalised search results
On first access, users will see personalised results ranked by how closely they match in sector, service, and location, supported by an AI-generated summary explaining why this person could be a valuable connection. - Search the CrossPitch network
Clients now have the option to search the full CrossPitch network, giving them access to professionals from other clients who also use CrossPitch.
What do I need to do: If you already use CrossPitch Search, reach out to your Client Success contact to enable this feature.
Additional CrossPitch improvements
CrossPitch Send: Notification email updates
Author bio summary added to CrossPitch email
We have added a setting to allow clients to remove the ISTATOY and LinkedIn share options from the CrossPitch notification email template.
Add author summary detail to CrossPitch email
Authors can now have a short AI summary that highlights their background and why they may be relevant to you.
What do I need to do: If you would like to remove the share options from your email, please Client Success contact or Passle support, and we’ll update them for you.
CrossPitch Send: Update display of Send/ Sent notifications table
We’ve redesigned the table to make it easier to scan and navigate, while accommodating more information to support the new follow feature, including showing which users are following the author.
All existing information is still available, but a few elements have been reorganised for a cleaner layout. Relevance is now included under the ‘More’ option, and actions like enhancing a profile or previewing a user’s email are now simple buttons at the end of each row.
CrossPitch Search: New scrolling search placeholder examples
You can now add up to 5 example search texts, which will automatically scroll through each option every 2 seconds.
What do I need to do: Share your placeholder examples with your Client Success contact or Passle support, and we’ll update them for you.
OTHER CHANGES
An overview of other enhancements and any minor tweaks to our existing features in this release.
Tag management
Bulk upload options for tag groups
Option to copy or bulk upload tags for a new Passle
We’ve made it easier to set up new tag groups in Passle. Instead of starting from scratch and updating everything manually, you now have two faster ways to get started.
You can still create tag groups and enter tags manually, and you can edit or update any tag groups and tags after they’ve been copied or imported.
- Import from CSV
Upload your tag groups and tags in bulk from a CSV file, saving time and keeping your structure clean and organised from the start. - Copy from an existing Passle
Quickly bring over tag groups and tags from another Passle within your firm or from an associated client’s Passle. This helps duplicate an existing setup and maintain consistency across your sites.
Bulk update options for Passles with existing tag groups
For clients who already have tag groups set up, we’ve added a new bulk update option to make managing large updates easier.
- Add new tags or tag groups
Add tags or tag groups to your existing structure without changing your current setup. - Update tags and tag groups
Replace your current tags and tag groups entirely with the new ones.
In both instances, you can choose how to update, either by importing from a CSV file or copying from another Passle.
Bulk managing users
We’ve improved the CSV import process for both Add new users and Bulk update users by making most columns optional.
Previously, all columns were required, meaning administrators had to upload large files with many empty fields. Now, non-essential columns can be left out, meaning you add or update only the information you need, reducing errors and making the process easier.
- Add new users
Only 'First Name' and 'Email Address' are required. - Bulk update users
Only 'Email Address' is required.
WHAT WE'VE FIXED
A list of minor UI updates in this release.
- The Status filter on the Crosspitch > Send notifications page now correctly filters rows by the selected statuses and supports multiple selections. General UI updates have also been made.
- The drop-down menu for Create a post and My drafts now correctly closes after an option is selected.
- Long unbroken text in table cells was causing tables to stretch beyond the page width. Cells will now wrap long content to keep tables contained within the page layout.
- The filtered date range for Client Connect Subscribers will now return only results for users who subscribed within that range.
