WHAT'S NEW

An overview of our new features and key enhancements in this release.

CrossPitch: Cross-selling Intelligence Map

The new Intelligence Map gives you an interactive view of how your firm collaborates, showing how practice areas, sectors, and locations are connected. It identifies where cross-selling and collaboration opportunities exist and can help visualize how integrated different sectors or geographies are with their peers.

The map makes it easy to understand relationships at a glance and explore connections across the firm. It’s a simple way to get a clear picture of internal collaboration and how knowledge and activity are shared across your firm.

Intelligence Map & CrossPitch Search

As well as showing these connections, the map also incorporates CrossPitch Search, making it easy to find colleagues using natural language. For example, along with the name of a colleague, you can also search for 'clean energy litigation in Baltimore' or 'London private equity'.

You can then explore their connections, view their bios and activity history and search for similar colleagues at your firm.

Intelligence Map & CrossPitch Follow

CrossPitch Follow is integrated throughout, so you can connect with colleagues and stay up to date with the posts they publish, supporting collaboration and helping you build trust and grow your internal network.

Additional CrossPitch updates

CrossPitch Follow

We’ve improved the follow experience when users select Follow from a CrossPitch notification email:

  • For posts with a single author, the landing page now confirms the user is following that author.

  • For posts with multiple authors, the landing page allows users to choose which authors to follow.

  • In both cases, relevant authors are also suggested to make it easier to build connections.

CrossPitch Search

We’ve made some small improvements and fixes to CrossPitch Search:

  • Increased the number of search results shown from 6 to 12.

  • Users and administrators can now regenerate their profile summary and select their preferred version, which will be shown to others in search and on the map.

  • Fixed an issue where users without a company or Passle profile URL were redirected to the Passle homepage. In these cases, the hyperlink has now been removed.

OTHER CHANGES

An overview of other enhancements and any minor tweaks to our existing features in this release.

Addition of '@mentions'/commenting feature for approval process

We have implemented a new @mentions feature allowing authors and approvers to tag and mention each other within the comments and track changes while editing a post.

This allows authors to ask for feedback or suggest changes within the body of the text, working in tandem with the approval process.

Outstanding comments are shown with two links at the tab overhead bringing attention to the number of remaining comments which need to be resolved.

Comments and track changes will need to be resolved before content is published, making sure all amendments and revisions have taken place.

An email notification will be sent out when someone has been mentioned in a comment alongside a Passle activity notification.

WHAT WE'VE FIXED

A list of minor UI updates in this release.

CrossPitch

  • Followers who had been deleted were incorrectly included in the employee/follower count on the CP Notifications > Sent screen. This has now been fixed, and deleted followers are no longer counted.
  • We fixed an issue on the CP Notifications > Edit post page where followers above the threshold were being counted twice in the “Send to all x employees” total. Followers are now correctly counted once, and the post information is displayed accurately.
  • To prevent incorrect gender references in author summaries, all summaries now use gender-neutral language.

Agencies

  • Previously, agents were unable to create posts from the agency dashboard, with the Create post button leading to an empty screen. This has now been fixed.
  • We also fixed an issue where agent Passle lists showed duplicate entries when creating a post or viewing the Passle button list. Duplicate entries are no longer displayed.
