WHAT'S NEW

An overview of our new features and key enhancements in this release.

Admin management of CrossPitch Follows

Administrators now have a dedicated area to manage CrossPitch Follows across the firm. The new Manage CrossPitch Follows interface provides full visibility and control over follow teams and individual connections, all from a central location.

The feature consists of three screens:

  • Teams overview — see all 'Follow teams' at a glance, including the number of followers in each team, and manage teams from here
  • Team detail — drill into any team to view its members, their follow status, and related activity
  • User detail — view and manage an individual user's follow connections in detail

A new setting has also been added to support BD-managed notifications, giving firms greater control over how follow notifications are handled for their business development teams.

Read our article How to manage CrossPitch Follows for further details.

What do I need to do? The Manage CrossPitch Follow feature is not enabled by default. Contact your Client Success team and they will be happy to discuss how it can work for your firm.

CrossPitch: Email link

You can now contact a colleague via email directly from CrossPitch.

Users can now see a direct email link alongside colleague profiles in CrossPitch Search results and on the Cross-Selling Intelligence Map. The email link will also appear in relevant CrossPitch notifications. This makes it easy to reach out to a colleague straight from their search result, map interface or notification, without needing to navigate away to find their contact details.

The email link uses the colleague's Passle account email address by default.

What do I need to do? Nothing! This feature will be enabled by default. Contact your Client Success team if you wish to discuss this feature or update the setting.

Post archiving

A new archiving option is now available for posts. Rather than permanently deleting a post, administrators can now archive it.  An archived post remains visible only to administrators via the Manage Posts page who have the option to restore if needed.

Posts can be archived individually from the edit post page, or in bulk via the Manage posts page.

A full audit trail is recorded in the post history, showing who archived or restored a post and when.
When a post is restored, it returns as a draft rather than going straight back to live, meaning it can be reviewed and approved before republishing. This gives administrators full control over what goes back on the site.

What do I need to do?  Please contact your Client Success team if you would like to know more about this feature.

ADDITIONAL CROSSPITCH UPDATES

A summary of additional CrossPitch enhancements and minor updates in this release.

CrossPitch Send: Custom text in post summaries

When sending a CrossPitch notification, you can now add a personalised message below the post summary in the notification email. This gives clients the ability to add context or a disclaimer, making the notification more relevant and engaging for the recipient.

What do I need to do? Contact your Client Success team to enable the additional email setting.

CrossPitch: Send notifications for reposted content

CrossPitch Send is now available for reposted content, not just original posts. This means users can send CrossPitch notifications for posts that have been reposted to their Passle, making it easier to share a broader range of content internally.

Note: This applies to cross-client reposts only and is not relevant if a client reposts content between its own Passles.

CrossPitch Search: Seniority ordering improvements

CrossPitch Search can now be configured to show results by seniority, ensuring that the most relevant and senior professionals surface at the top of search results. There are two modes available:

  • Partners only: Search results are filtered to show partner-level professionals only
  • Custom weighting: Professionals are ranked by a configurable seniority score, so firms can define exactly how much weight to give each title

Both modes can be configured independently for internal and external (public-facing) search, and can be fully customised to reflect a firm's own structure and hierarchy.

What do I need to do? Contact your Client Success team to enable and customise this setting.

CrossPitch Profiles: Education and Hobbies

CrossPitch profiles now include fields for Education and Hobbies. Users can add the universities or law schools they attended and their personal interests directly to their CrossPitch profile.

These additions help colleagues share more about their background and interests, making it easier to find common ground and build the personal connections that underpin effective cross-selling relationships.

OTHER CHANGES

An overview of other enhancements and any minor tweaks to our existing features in this release.

Support for Multiple SSO Identity Providers

Passle now supports clients that need to use more than one Single Sign-On (SSO) identity provider. Each additional provider is scoped to specific email domains, so users are automatically directed to the correct login provider based on their email address.

This is particularly useful for organisations that have recently merged and have users across multiple directories or Microsoft tenants who all need to access the same Passle instance. Both SAML 2.0 SSO and Entra ID configurations can run side-by-side.

What do I need to do?  Please contact your Client Success team if you think this feature may be relevant to your organisation.

Approvals: Two-step approval process

Clients using the approvals workflow can now enforce a mandatory two-step approval process (if needed), requiring all posts to pass through two stages of review before publication. This provides a more robust governance framework for firms that need an additional layer of oversight over published content.

Settings can be updated by the administrator for your approval process.

What do I need to do?  Please contact your Client Success team if you would like to know more about this feature.

Newsletter: ISTATOY share link

Newsletter emails now include an 'I Saw This And Thought Of You' (ISTATOY) share link, making it easy for recipients to share individual articles directly with a colleague. This helps extend the reach of your newsletter content through peer-to-peer sharing.

Manage users: CrossPitch fields in CSV export

The 'Manage users' CSV export now includes the CrossPitch-related fields that have been added to user profiles. Administrators can use this to audit and manage CrossPitch profile data in bulk, without needing to check individual user profiles.

WHAT WE'VE FIXED

A list of minor UI updates in this release.

Approvals

  • Fixed an issue where users were incorrectly shown a 'Not enough content for CrossPitch' warning modal when submitting a post for approval. This modal was appearing in error and now only appears when the post is about to be published.
