WHAT'S NEW
An overview of our new features and key enhancements in this release.
Improved activity email for authors
We've updated the activity email for authors to match the recent improvements made to administrator activity emails. This enhancement ensures authors receive valuable feedback about their content and its audience.
Here’s what the updated email includes:
- Total post views
- Social referrals
- Top-read posts
- Top companies engaging with your posts
- Client Connect views and key statistics
Emails are sent monthly or quarterly, depending on the author's activity level. This email replaces the previous Author Activity email.
What do I need to do: Nothing at all! All authors will automatically receive the feedback email. If you'd like to manage your notifications, visit: https://www.passle.net/account/notifications.
MS Entra ID (previously Azure Active Directory) integrationADMIN
You can now use MS Entra ID to centrally manage your users' access to Passle with our new integration option. MS Entra ID provides users with a single sign-on experience, but it also allows you to centrally manage adding and deleting users, along with other account management options.
With this new integration, you can manage the following elements of your Passle account via MS Entra ID:
- Adding /creating new users
- Deleting users
- Updating a user email address
- Updating user names
- Adding/ updating a user job title (optional)
Settings and initial user configurations are managed by the administrator in the Passle dashboard.
What do I need to do: Contact your Client Success contact and they will be happy to discuss the integration process with you.
OTHER CHANGES
An overview of other enhancements and any minor tweaks to our existing features in this release.
Updated post importer tool Agency
To better support content migration for our clients and Agency partners, we’ve introduced major improvements to our post importer tool.
Import via CSV
In addition to RSS feeds, you can now import posts using a CSV template. The CSV includes all key post data such as content, tags, authors, and media, making bulk imports easier and more comprehensive.
Improved management of imported posts
The new layout helps users quickly identify which posts need further work and which are ready for live. Common issues, such as missing authors, duplicate posts, or failed media uploads, are flagged during the upload process. As well as warnings, like missing tags or rich media in the content, are also highlighted for review.
Most of these issues can be resolved directly within the post import table, eliminating the need to edit each post individually.
Additional enhancements for importing content
- Imported posts filter: Administrators can easily filter by imported content.
- Post statistics warning: A message on the post statistics clarifies any discrepancies caused by backdated imported posts.
- Imported post history: The post history clearly indicates when a post has been imported, and by who, providing an audit trail.
