An overview of our new features and key enhancements in this release.
CrossPitch: Lateral Dashboard
The Lateral Dashboard builds on our CrossPitch Follow Manager, giving Business Development teams a dedicated way to track how a newly hired lateral is building their network, from their first follows through to full integration. It includes everything in Follow Manager, plus dashboards for the whole team and for each lateral, giving you an at-a-glance view of their progress, activity, and key details in one place.
Milestones & reviews
Each team picks a review schedule when it's set up - Monthly (Day 30/60/90) or Quarterly - and every lateral is automatically checked against a set of milestones at each review point, based on their CrossPitch activity. Milestones can be set as defaults for your firm and overridden per team.
Growing their network
Three tools help BD teams find the right people for a lateral to meet:
- Suggested introductions
Based on which colleagues are already reading, sharing, or publishing content in the lateral's area, so matches reflect genuine interest and likely collaborators. If there isn't enough engagement to go on, suggestions fall back to shared practice or sector. Each suggestion explains why it's a match, with a one-click Follow or Introduce option. - Who's missing?
Flags practice areas or sectors where the lateral has few or no follows yet, so gaps can be closed. - Search
A free-text search across the whole firm is also available for finding colleagues not surfaced automatically.
Success stories & notes
An optional setting lets teams log concrete wins for a lateral, such as a referral, a new matter, or a speaking slot. A free-text notes log is also available per lateral for anything else worth recording.
Review reminder report
A scheduled email (weekly or monthly) keeps everyone coaching a lateral up to date. Team contacts receive details covering every lateral on the team, and Lateral contacts only receive details covering the ones they're assigned to. It includes a comparison to the previous period and updates for each lateral with an upcoming review.

Follow Manager redesign
The individual profile view in Follow Manager has been updated to match the new Lateral Dashboard design. You'll still find the same suggested follows and search you're used to, plus a few new additions, including CrossPitch activity.
AI Helper
Post creation now includes AI Helper, giving authors a quick way to adjust their writing without leaving the editor. A new toolbar dropdown offers four actions:
- Rewrite – rephrases the selected text in the same voice, at a similar length
- Expand – develops the selected text with a sentence or two, staying on topic
- Tighten – shortens the selected text, cutting redundancy and filler
- Conclude – writes a closing paragraph for the whole post – no selection needed
AI Helper works from what's already in the post, it doesn't pull in outside content, so what you get back is always grounded in what's actually been written.
Reviewing AI suggestions
Every AI Helper change displays as a tracked change, shown in purple so it's easy to tell apart from a human edit. You can accept or discard each suggestion individually, or use "Accept all" / "Discard all" as normal – these now include AI Helper's suggestions too. A note appears in the approvals tab whenever AI Helper's been used on a post.

OTHER CHANGES
An overview of other enhancements and any minor tweaks to our existing features in this release.
User provisioning: Okta integration
You can now use Okta with Passle as a user provisioning option. It works in a similar way to our existing Entra ID integration, managing name, surname, email address and (optionally) job title centrally.
What do I need to do: Get in touch with your Client Success or Support team to discuss user provisioning.
Post creation: editor toolbar tidy-up
We've reordered options on the editor toolbar based on real usage data, and improved how it displays on smaller screens. It no longer wraps onto two lines, with less-used icons moving into an overflow menu instead.
Tracked changes now has its own icon separate from comments, and Embed media / Insert image now live together under a single media picker.
WHAT WE'VE FIXED
A list of minor UI updates in this release.
CrossPitch
- Notification emails sent via ISTATOY and CrossPitch now show a proper tracking display name in the BCC field instead of a raw email address. (Note: this BCC currently doesn't work with Yahoo Mail.)
- We have fixed an issue where the threshold selector on the CrossPitch Notifications page would jump unexpectedly when a search filter was applied.
- We have fixed a grammatical error and improved the accuracy of the follower/threshold summary text in post notification emails.
- We have fixed several small bugs on the CS Intelligence Map: the map no longer loads behind the activity box, avatar sizing is now based on Send & Follow activity, and the reporting period now correctly includes follow activity.
